Executive Vice President
Art is a successful inventor, product futurist, and entrepreneur who started his early career with Apple Computer, Inc. and founded audio consumer products company Aerielle, Inc. in 2001.  He served as CEO and President of Aerielle through 2009 and holds numerous design and utility patents related to audio, software and hardware products. He is widely known for commercializing the popular miniature FM transmitters used with portable music players.

Art has extensive in-bound and out-bound patent and trademark licensing experience with both US and International corporations. His IP experience portfolio also includes successfully asserting the rights of patent holders and his track record includes substantial damages awards and infringement settlements. He counsels AmiCOUR IP Group clients on patent portfolio strategy, international technology transfer, licensing program structure, and, when needed, litigation case management and license compliance. He can provide F.R.E. 702 expert witness services on electronics and consumer product infringement damages and licensing matters.

Art has hands on experience and industry knowledge in manufacturing, sales, marketing, business development, fund-raising, and OEM relationships with large corporations worldwide. He also assists early stage companies with team building, idea generation, new product development, prototyping, manufacturing sourcing, and funding structures.

Art  holds a BS in Computer Science from Drexel University, where he led a team to win a national competition accurately predicting the personal computer of the future. His MBA is from San Jose State University and he has additional coursework in law. Art is professionally active in business leadership (CEO) organizations, economic development and angel investing groups, and intellectual property professional organizations. He continues to serve as a board observer for Aerielle Technologies, Inc. and is the CEO of  Bluelight Cinemas, a popular discount movie theater located in Silicon Valley, California.
